Community Outreach

At Jordan Ramis, we believe it is our responsibility to promote and enhance the livability and viability of our communities. As a firm and as individuals, we actively engage in our communities, both fundraising and participating in activities throughout the year. Some activities change each year and include things such as volunteering at the Oregon Food Bank or providing supplies for the AniMeals program. Other programs occur on an annual basis, such as our now annual fundraising auction for charity, full of items created or donated by our own staff. We also sponsor children through Clackamas County foster kids and have a great time filling their holiday wishes each year. In addition, our attorneys and staff donate thousands of hours of their time to charities and nonprofits, including serving on numerous Boards of Directors.

Military Crisis Lines

Jordan Ramis participated in a fundraiser for Military Crisis Lines, which is a part of Lines for Life.  Though the callers shown here at the telethon are ordinary members of the Jordan Ramis family, every single person who answers support calls for Military Crisis Lines is a veteran who is understanding of the problems that fellow soldiers and veterans are going through.  Click here to learn more about Lines for Life.

Clackamas County Foster Kids

Each year Jordan Ramis holds a toy drive in the office, collecting holiday gifts to fulfill the wishes of Clackamas County foster children.  The firm and individuals both pitch in to fulfill the wish lists.  It’s not unusual to see someone in the office assembling a bike or testing out safety helmets, or even testing out the assembled bikes before they are picked up for delivery to the kids.

Jordan Ramis took a volunteer shift at the Oregon Food Bank this past fall, spending several hours in the perishable repack room where we repacked frozen vegetables into family-sized portions.  In the few hours that we were there, we worked alongside other community volunteers to repackage 8,049 pounds of food, creating 6,700 meals for those in need.  To learn more about the Oregon Food Bank and how you might be able to help, click here.

Auction for Charity

Filled with items created and donated by our own staff, our home-grown fundraising auction raises more than $5,000 per year for charity.  We have a team of very talented artists, chefs, bakers, sewers, outdoor enthusiasts, wine connoisseurs, scuba diving instructors, poker players, and more who generously donate their time and talents for the rest of us to enjoy.  The donations are amazing, we have a great time, and we are able to support those who need help in our communities.  In our book, a big win!
