A paralegal at Jordan Ramis, Amanda provides support for the Dirt Law® practice group, including environmental and natural resources, endangered species, water law, real estate, and land use cases.  After graduating cum laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources, Amanda received her Master of Science in Environment and Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She then attended the University of Washington School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in environmental law.  Amanda is licensed to practice law in Washington and served as a pro bono attorney for various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) before becoming a paralegal.  Her experience with NGOs and as an attorney heightened her skills in legal research and writing, reviewing agency actions, and intergovernmental affairs.
Amanda’s interdisciplinary environmental education is strengthened by her passion for the environmental field.  Since childhood she has enjoyed learning about and exploring national forests, parks, and public land systems.  Her litigation and development experience makes her a great fit for assisting our Bend attorneys.  Amanda relocated from the big city of Seattle to the lively and thriving city of Bend to join the Jordan Ramis team.  Bend is her ideal town encompassing the things that she enjoys, including hiking, snow skiing, and partaking in local community traditions.
