About

John Bachofner's practice focuses on litigation and jury trials, as well as on insurance coverage, product liability, general business, bankruptcy, and creditors' rights issues. He is the chair of Jordan Ramis PC's Litigation Group as well as past chair of the Oregon State Bar's Litigation Section. He has represented individuals and organizations in a variety of state and federal courts, arbitration forums, and agency hearings, as well as in a variety of transactions. Having taken or defended hundreds of depositions, he is frequently involved in binding arbitration of matters. His reputation and breadth of experience has earned him a Martindale-Hubbell® AV Preeminent® Attorney
rating, the organization's highest rating.

John is a frequent lecturer at seminars, client and bar-sponsored events with respect to creditor's rights, insurance coverage, business, and litigation matters.

An avid scuba diver since 1982 and a current PADI scuba instructor, John combines his passion for the law with his passion for diving by representing local dive shop owners and other diving-related professionals.
