John Bachofner's practice focuses on litigation, as well as on insurance coverage, product liability, general business, bankruptcy, and creditors' rights issues. He has represented individuals and organizations in a variety of arbitration forums, agency hearings, and state and federal courts, as well as a variety of transactions.
Over his more than two decades practicing law, John has become familiar with the unique challenges faced by large corporations. His work has ranged from companies with local regulatory agencies to interpreting complex contracts to representation in litigation. His reputation and breadth of experience has earned him the AV Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the organization's highest rating.
John is a frequent lecturer at seminars, client and bar-sponsored events with respect to creditor's rights, insurance coverage, business, and litigation matters.
An avid scuba diver since 1982 and a current PADI scuba instructor, John combines his passion for the law with his passion for diving by representing local dive shop owners and other diving-related professionals. In this regard, he has provided advice and guidance to the diving profession in business transactions, regulatory work, business advice, and litigation.
