Having given years of time, hard work, and commitment to bettering his community, Doug Cushing was honored for his contributions to the City of Lake Oswego with the 2016 Community Leader of the Year Award by the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce.
Cushing has been involved with the Lake Oswego Chamber for the last 10 years, served as president for 2 years, and is the past chair of the Chamber’s nominating and tourism grant committees. Currently, he is on the Board of Directors and chair of the Chamber’s government affairs committee.
“Everyone should participate in their community in one way, shape, or form,” says Cushing. “The Chamber is a great way to be involved in Lake Oswego.”
