Jordan Ramis PC Shareholder Awarded Building Industry Association’s “Protection of Industry” Award

Portland, OR… Jordan Ramis PC is proud to announce that shareholder James D. Howsley has been awarded the Building Industry Association of Clark County's ("BIA") "Protection of Industry" award. Jamie has been involved with the association for a number of years and has served as its Government Affairs Director since 2011. The award was given to Jamie based on his tireless efforts on behalf of the building industry in Washington and, especially, Clark County. Jamie frequently travels throughout the state and can often be found in Olympia working on important issues affecting the real estate and development market.

The BIA of Clark County, part of the larger Building Industry Association of Washington, is one of the region's leading building industry and small business advocates. The association's unique approach to government affairs, professional development, and public relations aims to protect and promote the building industry in and around Clark County. The association is largely driven by its membership, which counts among its members architectural, engineering, equipment sales, construction, building materials, and law firms, among numerous others.

Jamie earned his B.A. from the University of San Diego, where he studied history and political science. He earned his M.A. in political science from American University and his J.D. at Willamette University's College of Law. Jamie is a member of the American Planning Association, Southwest Washington Contractors Association, American Bar Association, Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations, and the Clark County Bar Association.
