GO BACK

Jordan Ramis PC is pleased to announce its top ranking by Chambers & Partners that will be published in the 2016 Chambers USA Guide, the most respected directory for identifying top performing law firms and individuals around the world.  This is the sixth year that the firm has been recognized by Chambers & Partners for its environmental work.

Lawyer and law firm rankings are based on research done by Chamber & Partners’ staff of more than 150 full-time editors and researchers.  While testimonials are submitted by law firms, the most credible source of information is derived from Chamber & Partners’ noted in-depth interview process, which includes phone screenings and investigative questioning.

In addition, three Jordan Ramis attorneys were recognized by Chambers & Partners as notable practitioners:

Steven L. Shropshire, Environment, Oregon

Shropshire focuses his practice on water rights and water quality matters. Chambers & Partners writes that Steve “has an ‘excellent reputation’ in environmental law, with particular expertise in water rights and water quality matters. Sources say of Shropshire: ‘He is a fantastic lawyer who explains things really well, not only accurately legally, but in a way that is understandable to the layperson.’”

Christopher L. Reive, Environment, Oregon

Reive advises clients on property contamination matters, including Superfund sites. He is also active in representing municipalities in regulatory compliance matters.  Chambers & Partners writes, “Chris Reive is a skilled and experienced environmental litigator who undertakes a broad swath of work including brownfield issues, waste disposal and insurance coverage matters.”

Timothy V. Ramis, Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use, Oregon

Ramis receives praise for his work with municipalities on controversial land use matters, and for his ability in wetlands permit proceedings. Chambers & Partners notes, “the ‘excellent’ Timothy Ramis of Jordan Ramis PC continues to impress in the land use space.  Ramis is noted for his experience in a range of matters including environmental matters and permitting disputes.”
