Infrastructure Financing

Practice Areas

OVERVIEW
The aging systems supporting our urban areas are being pressured by the demands of growth and the scarcity of financial resources. Increasingly, local governments are being required to make use of all available tools to build and maintain transportation, water, and wastewater infrastructure at the high level demanded by the public. Jordan Ramis lawyers have been involved in this issue for the past four decades, including drafting innovative statutes, litigating as far as the Supreme Court, and helping local governments employ the appropriate tools to finance the cost of infrastructure improvement. This work has involved bond measures, local improvement districts, reimbursement districts, grants, urban renewal, exactions, impact fees, performance guarantees, and loans and other finance techniques. We employ the firm’s experience with municipal finance, banking, construction law, and land development to serve all clients who need infrastructure finance advice.
