Commercial Litigation/Bankruptcy Paralegal - Lake Oswego, OR

Jordan Ramis PC is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our litigation and creditor’s rights group in the Lake Oswego office. This role is a highly responsible and substantive legal position that will directly provide support to attorneys within the Firm and be primarily responsible for managing all phases of the litigation and bankruptcy litigation process.  This position requires thorough knowledge of Oregon and Washington State and Federal Court (Western and Eastern) rules and procedures; excellent organizational and writing skills; and the ability to draft pleadings and manage complex litigation. 

The successful candidate must be able to proactively assist attorneys in managing multiple caseloads in a complex, procedure-rich working environment.  Paralegals must interact professionally, positively, and effectively with clients, attorneys, support staff and court staff.  A positive, energetic demeanor and professional presence are highly desirable. The paralegal will draft legal and business communication and pleadings, conduct general file and database management, document gathering, respond to discovery requests and inquiries under the supervision of attorney.  Excellent analytical and writing skills, and a thorough knowledge of Pacer, ECF filings, Microsoft Office programs, Word and Excel are required.  Familiarity with Relativity, Trial Director, LSS and/or NetDocs are a plus.
