Michelle R. Wilson

As an employment law and litigation paralegal at Jordan Ramis, Michelle works with our attorneys assisting clients on a broad spectrum of personnel and employment law matters. She is experienced in complex, litigation-related matters with a focus on employment-related claims ranging from employment discrimination and retaliation claims to wage and hour class actions. She participated in representing employers in workplace investigations, EEOC charges, civil service appeals, DOL claims, as well as handling union-related grievances and negotiations of collective bargaining agreements. She enjoys being hands-on with clients, helping them maintain compliance with the wide range of laws impacting the workplace. She effectively and efficiently addresses clients’ HR operational needs, including preparation of handbooks, workplace policies, workplace training, and employment contracts.
She has developed a unique skill set dealing with e-discovery, and her excellent writing skills make her adept in drafting legal documents. Her organizational talents also allow for efficient management of trial exhibits, discovery, and pleadings. Michelle has also served as a legal assistant in her career, where she supervised over 800 cases and assisted in all aspects of trial preparation and trial conclusion.
Michelle graduated from Louisiana State University in 2008 receiving her B.S. in Psychology with a minor concentrating on Sociology and Criminology. In 2010, she attended Tulane University where she obtained her American Bar Association Certification of Paralegal.
