As an environmental, water, natural resources, and litigation paralegal, Jeanelle assists attorneys in representing clients with diverse legal issues from compliance with federal and state laws relating to air, land, and water quality to resolving complex disputes at all phases of litigation.
She provides support in all aspects of a case including document analysis, fact gathering, legal research, discovery, corralling small and large quantities of documents, developing and using document management systems, and drafting and preparing documents. She works with federal, state, and local agencies and has experience in all levels of Oregon and Washington courts (State, Federal, and the Court of Appeals).
In addition to her passion for environmental and natural resources law, Jeanelle is litigation-oriented and has expertise in the areas of administrative law, business, construction, insurance coverage and defense, and intellectual property. She has provided in-courtroom trial support and has been involved in a number of cases that were adjudicated with successful outcomes.
With 20 years of experience supporting attorneys who have represented both plaintiffs and defendants, Jeanelle brings her project management and organizational skills to every case, finding creative solutions to solve problems, see around the corners, and streamline workflow. It is her attention to detail and ability to analyze facts, coupled with her knack for navigating multiple facets of the law practice, that has earned Jeanelle the success that she enjoys as a paralegal.
Jeanelle holds a degree in Paralegal Studies, having graduated with distinction, and is an Oregon Certified Paralegal (OCP).
