OVERVIEW
Marianna is a law clerk who has completed her second year at University of Oregon Law School in May 2023. She is a graduate of Scripps College with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Philosophy.
Since January 2023, Marianna has been a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Thomas Renn in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Eugene, where she researched exceptions to discharges in bankruptcy and prepared bench memorandum. During the summer of 2022, Marianna was a Summer Associate at a commercial law firm in Las Vegas where she drafted offers, motions and letters. Prior to law school, Marianna was a Strategy and Communications Associate with a global media agency in Los Angeles where she honed her communications skills with clients, using her fluent Spanish with overseas clients.
Outside of law, Marianna enjoys exploring Portland’s bustling restaurant scene, golfing, and spending time as the “cool aunt” to her one-year-old nephew. She also loves to travel and learn about other cultures, including six months studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain.
