Elizabeth Rosso focuses her practice on environmental law.  A Navy veteran, she understands both the importance of mission accomplishment and the necessity of legal and regulatory compliance.  She removes legal burdens so her clients can focus on their business.
During her 14 years as an officer in the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Elizabeth served in a variety of positions, including at sea aboard an aircraft carrier.  As environmental counsel, she helped her clients navigate the myriad environmental regulations applicable to activities undertaken by military airfields and working waterfronts and their tenants, including:
  • Solid and hazardous waste management
  • Spill and release response
  • Training exercises
  • Leases for renewable energy projects
  • Infrastructure repair and replacement
In addition, Elizabeth is a survivor of Hurricane Katrina and is experienced in weathering crises:
  • Hurricane Katrina: Identified resources to enable clients to recover from storm damage and displacement
  • 2008 mortgage foreclosure crisis: Educated attorneys on relief programs affecting clients’ ability to stay in their homes
  • COVID-19: Helped clients assess relief available under federal stimulus packages, and navigate Oregon and Washington emergency declarations, stay-home orders, and reopening plans
She is excited to bring her experience and expertise to the private sector.
Elizabeth is active in her community and enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with (and sometimes without) her two dogs.
