Greg brings a unique set of skills to the Jordan Ramis team, concentrating his practice on providing federal government-focused legal counseling and advice. With an insider’s knowledge of the Nation’s capital, Greg delivers a combination of principled judgment and smart sensitivity to clients as he fully understands the challenges of federal investigations, how to impact the legislative and regulatory process, and the role of government oversight. 

As someone who clearly grasps complicated public policy issues and the impact they have on businesses, Greg advises clients on navigating the government and steering their interactions with Congress and federal agencies. From responding to government inquiries and preparing for an appearance before Congress or federal agencies, to seeking approvals or participating in rulemakings, Greg consistently provides creative, strategic and thoughtful counsel on navigating the federal government. The combination of his deep knowledge and established relationships in the areas of energy and the environment, agriculture and natural resources, financial services, capital markets and technology makes him a valuable partner to clients. 

Greg has served in senior positions in the United States Treasury and Department of the Interior and as legal counsel to the House Committees on Agriculture, Financial Services and Energy & Commerce.  Greg has led government inquiries, represented parties before government investigators and appeared as a congressional witness. Greg has also appeared as a commentator on national television and published opinion columns on the impact of government policy on business in leading publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes and the Washington Times.
