Jeanelle Setzer-Michaud - Paralegal

As a paralegal in Jordan Ramis PC’s Litigation Practice Group, Jeanelle assists in all aspects of a case including document analysis; discovery; litigation technology (with focused experience managing e-discovery matters); small-and large-scale document production; management of evidence and documents for trials, hearings, and arbitrations; in-courtroom trial support; and appellate filings.  Her organizational ability allows her to effectively compile factual support for briefs and motions, and her project management ability helps her create the most efficient document review platforms (including creating and maintaining databases and supervising document review teams).

Jeanelle has assisted in taking numerous complex, multi-party cases to trial.  She is knowledgeable regarding all levels of Oregon and Washington courts, from State and Federal to the Court of Appeals, and is experienced in a number of practice areas including environmental law, intellectual property, complex litigation, construction, insurance defense, commercial, and business disputes.

Jeanelle holds a degree in Paralegal Studies, having graduated with distinction.  She believes knowledge and education is the key to providing the best service to clients, and frequently attends legal education courses to continue her areas of expertise.  Prior to joining Jordan Ramis, Jeanelle spent more than 15 years supporting attorneys who represented both plaintiffs and defendants.  She is a native Oregonian, and enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
