OVERVIEW
Over her almost 22 years on the West Coast, the themes that have emerged in Robyn Stein’s practice are her laser sharp attention to detail and, thanks to her Northeast upbringing, her straightforward approach to advising and advocating on behalf of clients.
As a legal writing specialist, Robyn’s practice focuses on state and federal court appeals and litigation for clients on general business issues, as well as in the areas of labor and employment and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.
Prior to joining Jordan Ramis, Robyn worked for years as a litigator and appellate counsel for a firm representing clients on personal injury and wrongful death claims related to asbestos exposure. She started her career working for Multnomah County Legal Aid Services, and has represented clients seeking disability benefits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). This work provided invaluable experience in all aspects of case management in state and federal courts, from the initial pleading stage, to trial, and through all phases of appeal.
What Robyn enjoys most about practicing law is finding and explaining the story, applying the facts, and crafting a persuasive narrative argument for why her clients should prevail. An introvert by nature, she is a voracious reader. When she’s not practicing law, Robyn enjoys spending time with her spouse and their Keeshond dog, Wicket.
