Jordan Ramis PC Welcomes New Business and Real Estate Attorneys

Portland, OR… Jordan Ramis PC, Attorneys at Law, is proud to announce the addition of attorneys Lawrence Evans and Krista Evans to the firm. "We're very pleased to welcome both Larry and Krista to Jordan Ramis," said Managing Shareholder Steve Shropshire. "Larry's tremendous experience with complex business transactions will meld very nicely with our existing capabilities and services, further solidifying Jordan Ramis as a preferred law firm for regional businesses. We are also pleased to add Krista to our team, as one of the rising stars in the business law community."

Lawrence Evans

Lawrence "Larry" Evans, who joins Jordan Ramis as a shareholder, specializes in meeting the needs of small to medium-sized business. Larry has more than 35 years of experience working with clients in a number of areas, including business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial real estate. In every case, Larry's approach is to work collaboratively to solve his clients' pressing needs.

Larry received a B.S. from the University of Oregon and his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School. Outside of the legal realm, Larry has been involved with a number of nonprofit organizations, including Pacific Northwest Billy Graham Crusade, Portland Business Luncheons, West Hills Christian School, Compassion Ministries, and Northwest Christian Community Foundation.

Krista N. Evans

Krista Evans joins Jordan Ramis PC as an associate. She has experience on a range of business issues, including corporate compliance, employment agreements, business financing, contract review and drafting, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, and strategic alliances. Krista also has experience in a number of real estate matters in the areas of commercial leasing, easements, purchases, sales, and real estate financing.

Krista received her B.A. from the University of Oregon and her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School (Certificate in General Business Law), where she graduated cum laude.During her time at Lewis & Clark, Krista was awarded third place in the 2010 Federal Bar Association Section on Taxation, National Writing Competition for her paper, "Valuation of Closely Held Businesses and their Interest Using the Income Approach." She also won Best Oral Advocate and received an honors designation on her brief in the Lewis & Clark Law School First Year Appellate Advocacy Competition.
