HBA Files Amicus Brief to Protect Clear and Objective Standards

On September 10, 2021, the Home Builders Association posted a news update featuring Jordan Ramis attorney, Jamie Howsley. On behalf of the Home Builders Association, Mr. Howsley filed an amicus brief with the Oregon Court of Appeals in the case Roberts et al v. City of Cannon Beach. The brief highlights the broader implications a recent LUBA decision may have on the development of housing. At issue is the definition of clear and objective standards, as the term and requirement pertain to housing.
