The Oregon New Lawyers Division (“ONLD”) of the Oregon State Bar honored Jordan Ramis Attorney Krista Evans with two awards at their Annual Meeting on November 7.
Krista Evans, an associate of the firm, was honored as a recipient of the ONLD Project of the Year award and also the ONLD Volunteer of the Year award. The Project of the Year award recognizes Krista for her work co-developing the Student Loan Repayment Information Project, which provides resources on the Oregon State Bar website for attorneys on student loan repayment options. Krista also received the Volunteer of the Year award for her work supporting the ONLD and advancing its mission, including her time and commitment managing the ONLD social media platform.
Krista Evans’ legal practice focuses on business law, including corporate compliance, business financing, contract review and drafting, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, and strategic alliances. Krista has served on the Executive Committee of the ONLD since summer 2012 and was elected to be the 2015 ONLD secretary. Krista also volunteers her time mentoring law students for the Lewis & Clark Law School Mentorship Program.
