Vancouver, WA… Jordan Ramis PC is pleased to announce that shareholder James D. Howsley has been appointed to the Building Industry Association of Washington's ("BIAW") Legal Committee for 2013. Jamie is one of only 15 individuals appointed to the committee in 2013. He was previously appointed in 2012.
The BIAW's mission is to be the voice of the housing industry in the state of Washington. The association is dedicated to ensuring and enhancing the vitality of the building industry for the benefit of its members and the housing needs of Washington's citizens. The BIAW's Legal Committee is comprised of attorneys and other land use technical experts who convene throughout the year to discuss legal issues, including land use, permitting, environmental law, and general business matters.
Jamie earned his B.A. from the University of San Diego, where he studied history and political science. He earned his M.A. in political science from American University and his J.D. at Willamette University's College of Law. Jamie is a member of the American Planning Association, Southwest Washington Contractors Association, American Bar Association, Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations, and the Clark County Bar Association.
