Jordan Ramis PC Shareholder Makes 2013 Washington Rising Stars Listing

Portland, OR… Jordan Ramis PC is proud to announce that shareholder James D. Howsley has been selected for inclusion on the 2013 Washington Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Jamie, who was also recognized in 2011 and 2012, focuses his practice on land use and zoning, environmental, and government relations issues.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys. To be eligible for inclusion on theRising Stars list, a candidate must either be 40 or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Washington are named to this list.

Jamie earned his B.A. from the University of San Diego, where he studied history and political science. He earned his M.A. in political science from American University and his J.D. at Willamette University's College of Law. Jamie is a member of the American Planning Association, Southwest Washington Contractors Association, American Bar Association, Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations, and the Clark County Bar Association.
