Estate Planning and Probate Attorney

Jordan Ramis PC, a regional law firm with offices in downtown Portland and Bend, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, is a team of professionals committed to exceptional client services. The firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration Attorney to join our team.

Essential Duties:

  • Knowledge of both Oregon and Washington estate planning and probate law, plus tax experience and working with high net worth individuals.
  • Drafts pleadings for probate administration.
  • Prepares accountings for probate and trust administration.
  • Prepares estate planning documents such as wills, trusts and ancillary documents.
  • Manages probate/trust administration deadlines.
  • Knowledgeable of life insurance trusts, guardianships, estate planning, fiduciary income and estate tax preparation and asset distribution.
  • Knowledge of trust funding including preparing deeds, assignments and change of ownership.
  • Communicates verbally and in writing with clients, family members, trustees and other professionals regarding all aspects of estate planning and probate matters and related issues with confidence and professionalism.
  • Performs special projects and duties as assigned.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • 7-10 years of estate planning, probate and general business experience;
  • A portable book of business is a plus;
  • Must be admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington .
