OVERVIEW

With more than 30 years of experience as a licensed attorney and certified public accountant in both Oregon and Washington, Tom Harbolt brings his clients a breadth and depth of expertise that is second to none. Tom’s areas of focus include business formation and transactions, real estate, investment management and estate planning.  Tom offers practical solutions to complex issues.  He is a seasoned negotiator and takes pride in being known for getting deals done.

In addition to practicing law, Tom has experience operating several businesses including a large investment advisory firm, an Oregon nursery, a non-profit focused on charitable giving and a multi-family property management company.  Tom also sits on the Board of a multi-family developer.  As an advisor to, and seasoned operator of, several businesses, Tom offers clients a business owner/operator’s perspective that most attorneys have not experienced.  Tom has served in the position of President, Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel, Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director.  Tom knows how to navigate most aspects of a business because he has experience being responsible for timely decision making and resolving issues.

Tom’s greatest joy is spending time with his family.  Tom is an avid outdoorsmen and he loves hosting golf with family and friends.  Tom is motivated by his faith and his desire to serve others.  Tom’s favorite part of being an attorney is helping others solve their problems.
