A few months ago I gave a presentation to a group of business people in the community wanting to learn more about the challenges of development. I thought long and hard about a medium that could best explain land use that didn’t also come across as wonky. Then I had an ‘aha’ moment. Development can sort of be like a game. So I built my own game (with a fair use parody of Monopoly) to explain the points. I thought I might share it with you here today. Maybe with future posts I can go into some more detail on some of the issues.
