Portland, OR… Jordan Ramis PC, Attorneys at Law, announced Friday that noted trial attorney Leta E. Gorman has joined the firm as a shareholder.

Leta has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts having tried more than 20 bench and jury trials. She focuses her practice on the defense of manufacturers of consumer and industrial products, including several pharmaceutical companies and device manufacturers. Leta also represents developers and general contractors in complex, multi-party construction disputes. She has handled numerous class actions, arbitrations, and mediations.
Leta previously served as shareholder at Bullivant Houser Bailey PC, where she successfully defended manufacturers, developers, and contractors across an array of disputes. Leta was also a trial practice attorney at Stoel Rives LLP and a senior associate at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
In addition to her law practice, Leta also has an active role in the Oregon Ballet Theatre, the Kappa Delta Sorority, and the National Panhellenic Association.
Leta earned her B.A. from the University of Washington's Jackson School of International Studies in U.S. Foreign Affairs and Diplomacy, where she graduated with honors. She earned her J.D. at Seattle University's School of Law, cum laude. Leta is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, American Bar Association, Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations, and the Multnomah County Bar Association.
Leta is a frequent speaker at local and national legal conferences, including the 2010 International Association of Defense Counsel Corporate Counsel College. She also served on the faculty of the 2010 International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy.
