Vancouver, WA… Adding to its veteran Vancouver team, Jordan Ramis PC is pleased to announce attorneys Russell Garrett, John Bachofner, and Scott Anders are joining the firm effective Tuesday, August 16, 2011.
"We are thrilled to welcome Russ, Scott, and John to the Vancouver office. They are not only first-class attorneys, but genuinely top-notch individuals," said Brad Eriksen, acting managing shareholder at Jordan Ramis PC. "We are pleased they have chosen Jordan Ramis to call home."
|Russell Garrett is a bankruptcy lawyer with more than 23 years of experience handling bankruptcy and creditors' rights, commercial litigation, real estate, and general business. He was formerly the shareholder-in-charge of Bullivant Houser Bailey's Vancouver office and joins Jordan Ramis as a shareholder.
|John Bachofner's practice focuses on insurance coverage and litigation, products liability, business, creditors' rights, and bankruptcy. He joins Jordan Ramis as a shareholder. He has been practicing since 1988 and has an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating an attorney can receive.
|Scott Anders is an experienced former civil prosecutor and former District Court Judge in Clark County. His practice areas include bankruptcy and creditors' rights. He will join the firm as "of counsel." He has been practicing law for more than two decades, during which time his accomplishments include helping define performance standards for trial court.
The acquisition furthers Jordan Ramis's mission of building a premier West Coast law firm. The firm opened its Vancouver offices (1499 SE Tech Center Place, Suite 380) in 2007. Jordan Ramis shareholders (and Vancouver residents) Brad Eriksen and Chris Reive currently work out of the offices.
"This represents our commitment to the Vancouver community and our investment in the future," Eriksen said. "Our Southwest Washington clients will receive the same client-focused commitment to excellence we have delivered for nearly 50 years. Now, they will receive expanded access to legal services that include business, bankruptcy and creditors' rights, real estate, environmental, land use, employment, estate planning, and construction law services."
Also joining the Jordan Ramis team are a paralegal and two legal assistants, who are accompanying the attorneys. Following the arrival of Russell, Scott, John and their team, Jordan Ramis will have 26 attorneys, and a total staff of 58.
Furthering its commitment to SW Washington, Vancouver and Clark County, Jordan Ramis is sponsoring the Columbia River Economic Development Council's presentation on September 8, 2011 of the proposed Economic Development Plan for Clark County.
