OVERVIEW

Jeff uses his nearly 20 years of experience working both in-house and with law firms, coupled with an efficient and practical approach to providing legal guidance and counsel, to effectively protect his clients’ legal interests. With an endless curiosity about his clients’ businesses, combined with his experience as an executive team member at a regional real estate development and investment company, Jeff delivers legal solutions and counsel that speak directly to his clients’ specific business and legal needs.

Jeff regularly advises business owners on traditional business law matters and issues, such as entity formation, corporate governance, employment law issues, joint venture and partnership agreements, business operations, contracts, and business and asset sales and acquisitions. Having been both in-house counsel and participant in the business decision-making process, Jeff has firsthand appreciation and know-how for addressing the day-to-day legal and practical business challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses.

With a special focus in commercial real estate transactional law, Jeff advises his real estate clients, ranging from owners and developers to lenders, on matters that span the entire spectrum of complex commercial real estate and finance transactions, including development, financing, leasing, and acquisition/disposition of real estate projects. He also advises developers and owners on risk management and construction law issues that arise in connection with development and operation of their real estate projects.

No matter what he is working on, Jeff keeps a keen and calculated eye toward anticipating obstacles (both practical and legal), communicating them to the client, mitigating risk, and bringing thoughtful options for optimal solutions.

When not practicing law, Jeff has a variety of interests, including all things related to sports and learning foreign languages (Italian and Spanish); but above all, he enjoys making memories with his family.
