“Young people deserve a clean slate” Salem Stateman Journal

BACK TO KNOWLEDGE CENTER

Those who have been convicted of a crime as a juvenile have a difficult time getting those records expunged, especially in Oregon, making it tough and sometimes even impossible to get a new job, professional licenses, housing, and entry to college or the military. Young people deserve a clean slate – and attorney David Rabbino is working to make that happen. As president of the board of non-profit law firm Youth, Rights & Justice, he has been involved in efforts to launch the Record Relief Juvenile Expunction Clinic, which helps individuals expunge their juvenile records. He discusses the program, now available throughout Oregon, in this recent article published by the Salem Statesman Journal: Oregon’s Young Deserve a Clean Slate.
